We wake up and say our goodbyes and head to Akron Ohio. After about a 2 and a half hour drive we arrive at this house called the Kling thing house. they do screen printing here and host shows in the basement. The house is suprisingly very clean. This is a relief , because the place we had stayed the night before was well... basically a shit hole. After talking to a couple of the people that live there, they said they would take me out on a ride. So i went for a little bike ride around downtown Akron. It is a very nice town. We were right around Akron University which seemed to have a nice campus.
I get back and we chill for a bit, then load our gear in. It was a very tiny basement. The crowd was really into it and everything sounded good. native played after us and they are always really fun to watch. 2 more bands play after that and they are also on tour. After the show we hang out and load all the gear up. Some people we met that live at the Kling thing house take me out for a late night bike ride. It was quite enjoyable. Akron is a very pretty town and there was no traffic out . We rode around for about 2 hours then head back. Now we are about to crash out on the floor and drive to Niagra Falls tommorow before the show......

Summer tour '08 ( day 1 )
We take off from grand rapids around 2:00pm. we drive about an hour and half to pats dads house in Jackson Michigan. Stop for some hot dogs and a beer. Then we drive about an hour and 30 minutes to Bowling Green, Ohio. After arriving at the club around 6:45, i take a little bike ride through downtown bowling green. A friendly police officer pulls me over and warns me about several bike accidents recently and how I should watch out for the cars around me. He also tells me about a nice paved trail close by. So i followed his directions and took a relaxing bike ride for about an hour through the country side of bowling green.
The show started around 10: 30. It was at an old bar called Howards Club. Tons of bands have been through there, tons of stickers on the walls. We were the first band on. There was a decent crowd. everything was miced and sounded really good. After we played i had a beer and listened to native play. 3 bands later we loaded up all the gear and headed to our new found friends house. The members of a band called big fat japan lived there and they played right after native. We stayed up for a bit and chatted then hit the hay. All 8 of us lined up on the living room floor, it was a very hot night.
